SurpRise SurPriSE...tHE bEGINnINg of aLL...

About a month ago on 11th Oct, I received a msg frm JiE while I was bathing. It was no ordinary msg, its a msg tat will change both of our lives altogether.. He told me that he read in the papers that HDB is putting up flats in CCK for sale under the Bi-monthly sales scheme and asked me whether I want to give it a try to send in the application of balloting....erm, no proposal, no thing, juz ask me wan to get flat or not..wat a good way..since gettin a flat means that ROM is essential aso..win oredi...hahah

Typical him, i tink..I would not dreamt of gettin a romatic proposal wif some big fat ring, but this is the least i expect. Actually not at this time la, n of cuz he didnt mentioned he is willin to live near CCK as he deems here to be quite "ulu". Still, its sweet of him to be willing to compromise since i always joke tt i would wan stay near my mum so tt our future kids can be looked after by her..heheh

Finally after days of toking and viewin the website, on 14th oct where both of us are not working due to the make up holiday for Hari Raya, we decide to try to apply for the flat. No discussions, with his parents, my parents or any 1 else, we just send in the application which took us 10 mins to fill in and make the payment. haha..tinking bak, we were abit rash...but still, it is a decision tat i stand by firmly and did not regret.

Jie flew off to Taiwan for his company trip on 18th Oct and is staying there for 4 days. Since the results of the ballot is out on 19th, I would be in charge to do the checking of the results. I wasnt able to sit still for the whole morning on fri, keep tinking whether we will be choosen to go choose a flat or not, wat will be our queue number, will the flat we r interested be choosen by some1 else, or will we juz failed in the application. All this ambiguousness is killing me..

Finally, at 2pm sharp, I log into HDB webbie to check the results.. WE WERE CHOSEN!! we were chosen to go choose a flat!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe our luck, i mean there r alot of plp who send in the application alot of times and did not manage to get a queue number and here we are, 2 persons who are totally unprepared to get married and juz wan to try our luck in the 1st place got a queue number...Indeed, this is a dream came true, although wat follows seems no where near a good dream....

We were given the queue number of 576 and is schedule to chose the flat 2wks after the 1st choosing date. Given that there is only 489 flats for sale this time, we were crossing our fingers that we might be able to get a house, we didnt even dare to dream of getting the 1 we want, although secretly i was wishing people would not want to choose CCK becuz of its "uluness". haha but then again since this bi-monthly sales is open to north-west residents, i tink those who applied will wan a flat in this area, its a matter of WHICH 1 onli.....

I immediately send a msg to him in taiwan as i couldnt contain my excitement. Called my mum and informed her too..wat is left now, is the waiting game which proves too much for me to handle..2wks..its is pure torture i tell u...even for him...the both of us is so nervous tat we left the sales web page on and refresh every 1 hr to check the status of the sales.
