my sENTOsa TrIp

went Sentosa today with ah Dog, actually plan to eat at Vivo city onli and Ah Dog suggested shopping..hehe but shoppin I wanna wait for Jie to come bak, hehe shop with Jie, he will give me suggestions on wat to buy de...anyway i digress, actually i haf long wanted to go see the new musical fountain "Song of the Sea" but keep draggin. Juz nice tiz time goin vivo so ask ah dog whether wan go see or nt lo..turns out to be a good choice..better den shoppin at Vivo if u asked me..the shops there too atas le la..i cannot see anything i wan buy there..hehe

Went in at 4++ to buy the tix 1st as it was stated in the website tt the tix are sold out quite easily. waste my money lo, muz go all the way to Sentosa there den can purchase the tix, so gotta take the monorail in and buy the tix and since we r nt eating dinner there, muz take the monorail out again to vivo to eat den buy tix again to take the monorail in...haiz..y cant they juz sell at the monorail counter at vivo?den will nt waste the time and money to go in and buy the 1st time..in anycase i aso kiasu la, i scare if buy when nearer to the start time, i would nt get a tix den cannot see le..so waste 3 bucks to go in and buy 1st is to avoid disappointment for me..hehe

The show was realli exciting lo..some parts are abit boring but overall i realli like the effects of the show. It is different from the old musical fountain show. which onli comprises of water and laser effect. In this new show, new elements like fire effects, special computer images are added in. not to forget the lasers and water effects. The show has a story line to and as the story moves on, different effects are used. I especially like the ending part of the show, the coordination of the water jets, lightings and the music is realli superb!

After the show, while waiting for the crowd to clear, we went to take photo of the area of the show..as the show was fully seated, we reckon that it will take a few monorails trip to clear the crowd, so we walked around the area to avoid the crowd on the monorail. i hate big crowds. get on my nerves. hehe

I came across the Luge and skyride attraction near to the sourvenir store and decide to take a look. I was drawn to the idea of takin the sky ride and we decided to give it a try. Lucky Ah Dog was sporting enuff..heheh..in the end we each brought a combo of a sky ride up to the top base and then took a Luge ride down. Luge is some sort like those go-cart.

The sky ride was abit scary lo. given tat i have a phobia of heights. hehe i aso dunno y i so brave today to wan go try the ride. but there is always a 1st time ma...the stupid ride stopped half way while we are at the most top position of the ride and i can feel the seats swinging in the air lo. Frankly speaking, it took a lot of my self control not to scream out loud at the point lo. I was holding on real tight to the handles and to make things worse, i was wearing slippers and was afraid that it would dropped half way thru the ride. So in the end, my toes are clinging tightly to my slippers too..hehe lucky it is at nitez, ah dog is nt able to see me holdin on tightly to the handles becuz i am scare. if nt, i tink i will neber hear the end of it....

After reaching the top base of the sky ride, we then move on to take the Luge ride. Which is, we have to manoeuver a go cart like vehicle ourselves down a slope to the point where we took the sky ride. There are personnels there give simple and fast crash course on how to control the vehicle. It was all down slope..i personally like the Luge ride more than the sky ride. the onli thing i dun like? is i gotta wear the stupid helmet..which i tink is quite dirty...heheh

After that we left sentosa and part ways, although it is nt consider a long outin today, but i was super tired out...slept all the way hm on bus..it was fun to visit sentosa after nt goin there for such long time...but i tink there are quite some things there i haven seen..when Jie comes bak and finishes his exams, i gonna make him to accompany me there to explore the other attractions..i would wan to go up to the Merlion viewing gallery, take a walk on the Dragon trails etc...and i would wan to go in the day next time...so can take photos..hahah...

it is always nice to go once in a while for this kind of trip to sentosa island for exploring the different attractions...tink it is better than shoppin...at least goin there makes me feel more relax..till then SENTOSA....
